The goal of this page is to give resources that can help improve positive well-being.  Depending on the resource, it might be a website with great research-based articles from which to refer or websites with self-tests that will help with tracking certain elements of well-being.  Remember the suggested reads page on this website for books about well-being.

The basic personality explanation in the field of psychology.  This can help teenagers begin to understand who they are and help adults reaffirm who they are.  Personality is our daily behavior and this is a nice start for self-realization.

Authentic Happiness--University of Pennsylvania

Offering one of the first advanced degrees in positive psychology, the University of Pennsylvania's Applied Positive Psychology program offers great resources on this website, especially the questionnaires.  Create a log-in for free and take the latest well-being tests that track feelings, character strengths, and much more.  

 
 

Positivity Resonance--Tools from, Love 2.0

From the author of Positivity, Barbara Fredrickson furthers the public's understanding of positive emotions, and mainly love, in her book Love 2.0.  On the website, she has put everyday meditations anyone can do to create more fulfilling interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships.  In addition, under the "Online Tools" tab, you can track your positivity from day-to-day.  This allows better reflection on a daily basis to see what brings you the most positivity.  For flourishing individuals, your positive to negative ratio should be 3:1; or above. The average person has a 2:1 ratio.

This online magazine produces articles on a weekly, and sometimes daily, basis that relate to building positive well-being.  All articles are research-based and scientifically proven.  They categorize their articles about well-being through the lens of family, workplace, education, and so much more.  This is the premier resource to understanding what it takes to live a fulfilling life.  

 
 

Live Happy Magazine

This magazine provides the latest research in the field from the leading researchers around the world.  You can subscribe to a print copy of this magazine and can view a lot of their main content online.  Also, they have a podcast available through a few different platforms that will provide strategies to living a fulfilling life through many different realms.

Our current culture of children are victims of overprotection by parents, schools, and other institutions. This website has resources that discuss how we can build resilient children by challenging them, giving them more responsibility, and building confidence in the correct way. A lot of the research and advice may contract what people might think, and it may possibly shock those that read it. But, in order to build a great society, we must develop great people based on what scientific research says.

When visiting this website, you can do a number of things, like sign-up for a newsletter or subscribe to his podcast. By doing this, you will gain insight into what makes companies thrive and enjoyable to be a part of. His books are a great resource as well.

This website has modules for learning about specific elements that are needed to improve well-being as well as questionnaires one can take. This website is a good start for investigating elements of positive psychology and how to improve oneself.
